One bitcoin is worth
Every ten minutes or so, a miner bundles waiting payments into a block and links it to the one before. Newest on the left.
Every 210,000 blocks the reward for finding a block is cut in half, from 3.125 BTC to 1.5625 BTC next time.
It builds a real block on top of today's chain and guesses as fast as your device allows. Every guess has the same tiny chance of winning, so the bot's whole job is more guesses, no wasted work, and a payout it has checked.
More guesses, nothing else. A win comes down to guesses per second, so the bot uses your graphics card as well as your processor. Before trusting the graphics card, it makes it re-find Bitcoin's very first block.
The lowest fee that's online. It connects to Public Pool first (0% fee), then Braiins Solo (0.5%), then Solo CKPool (2%). Two percent of a whole block is thousands of dollars.
A checked payout. Before guessing on any pool's block, the bot reads the reward transaction and confirms it pays The Plain Chain's address. If it doesn't, the bot skips that pool.
No stale work. The moment the network adds a block, the bot drops the old one and starts on the new tip.

This bot runs only while you choose, and only in this tab. It hashes against the live network target but isn’t connected to a mining pool yet, so for now it’s practice.
Measured over the last full difficulty period, blocks 967,742 to 969,766 (September 19 to October 3, 2026), plus every solo-style win from the past year.

10.0 vs 6.9 minutesBlocks arrived every 10.0 minutes on average, but the typical gap was 6.9 minutes. That's the signature of a pure lottery, so no block is ever “due”, solo or otherwise.
No lucky numbersWinning nonces were spread evenly across the whole range, and winning hashes cleared the target by a random margin. A close guess doesn't mean a win is near.
0.56% of the prizeFees were a median 0.56% of each prize and peaked at 6.8%. Prizes ran larger after long gaps between blocks and on weekday afternoons in the US, but nobody picks when they win.
Two ways to better oddsMore guesses per second, or a drop in difficulty. Everything else changes the size of the prize or the fee, not the chance of winning it.
